JCS needs your support to ensure that its ongoing commitment to the welfare of the Jewish community continues with the highest level of care. Donations can also be made to a specific program and are tax deductible.

Simcha Giving
Many people share their happiness by requesting donations to charity in lieu of gifts. By asking for donations to JCS in place of presents for a birthday or any other simcha, you are extending your hand to those in our community who need it most.
Fundraising
Jewish Community Services has a very active fundraising committee. This committee provides a variety of different opportunities to participate with JCS and provide financial support. Some of the fundraising activities include movies, theatre, fun runs, an art exhibition and more. A special function during 2009 was the joint brunch with WIZO. This function is considered a must on the community calendar, as lots of fun is had by all.
Community Appeals
Every year the Annual General Meeting (October) launches our annual appeal. This appeal is well supported by the Adelaide Jewish community. This generosity helps in providing the social, emotional and practical needs of the Jewish community of South Australia. These funds provide emergency funds for those in need, advocacy, support and a welcoming smile to immigrants, a place to have a cup of coffee and everything else in between.
