About Us
Jewish Community Services Inc (JCS) is a non-profit community organisation established in 1994 to respond to the needs of individuals and families in South Australia's Jewish Community. Though Adelaide has a small Jewish community, compared to the Jewish communities in other Australian States, Adelaide boasts a choice of synagogues, access to Kosher foods in appointed supermarkets, community events to cover all Jewish religious holidays, a young and vibrant youth movement, acknowledgement and remembrance of the Holocaust, celebrations of Israeli holidays and more.
Within this vibrant Jewish Community, JCS provides unconditional, culturally appropriate and confidential support and assistance. Our services include counselling, information and referral to support and assist individuals, families, seniors, migrants, new arrivals, people with disabilities, unemployed people and youth. We promote independence, ensure dignity, provide choices and facilitate access to services to enhance a better quality of life.

Our mission is to engage the Jewish community by providing access to care and other services to the aged, individuals and families in need. We attain our objectives through direct assistance and liaising with other organisations.
